The SMLIGHT SLZB-Ultima 3 is a professional-grade multi-radio Zigbee and Thread adapter designed for system integrators, installers, and advanced smart home users.
Built for high-performance environments, the Ultima 3 combines powerful radio hardware, advanced diagnostics, and integrated peripherals into a single device, making it suitable for both production smart home deployments and development environments.
With its dual-radio architecture (CC2674P10 for Zigbee and EFR32MG24 for Thread), the SLZB-Ultima 3 enables simultaneous Zigbee and Matter-over-Thread operation, allowing flexible and future-ready smart home configurations.
The device runs on SMLIGHT’s SLZB-OS, providing a unified web interface with live logs, diagnostics, OTA updates, and built-in tools for advanced configuration and automation. It also supports ESPHome for extended customisation.
This TCP/IP coordinator enables control of Zigbee devices via Zigbee2MQTT, while also supporting Thread-based Matter devices and additional protocols through its expansion system.
The SLZB-Ultima 3 includes USB passthrough over network (TCP/IP), allowing additional USB devices such as Z-Wave or other radio adapters to be connected and accessed remotely over Ethernet or Wi-Fi.
It supports Ethernet connectivity for stable operation, with optional Power over Ethernet (PoE) via add-on, and also includes Wi-Fi and USB connectivity for flexible deployment.
