Built on SMHUB-OS, all automation services run directly on the device itself, removing the need for cloud platforms, external servers, or additional hardware such as Raspberry Pi systems.

With strong processing power, integrated storage, multi-radio support, and an expandable ecosystem, the SMHUB Essential provides a reliable and scalable foundation for advanced smart home installations.

The hub supports Zigbee, Thread, and Matter integration, allowing seamless control of a wide range of smart devices across modern ecosystems.

Pre-installed services including Zigbee2MQTT, Node-RED, Mosquitto MQTT, WireGuard VPN, and OpenThread tools allow the device to operate as a complete standalone automation controller.

Using Matterbridge, Zigbee devices can be integrated with platforms such as Apple Home and Google Home via Matter-compatible setups.
