The SMLIGHT SLZB-MR4U Zigbee LAN PoE USB Wi-Fi multiradio coordinator is a professional-grade smart home gateway designed for advanced and large-scale smart home installations.
Built with a dual-chip architecture (CC2674P10 for Zigbee and EFR32MG26 for Thread/Matter), the SLZB-MR4U supports simultaneous multi-protocol operation, enabling Zigbee and Matter-over-Thread networks to run together without compromise.
The upgraded hardware includes 2.5MB of RAM, providing improved stability, enhanced performance, and support for complex and scalable smart home environments.
This TCP/IP multiradio coordinator enables control of Zigbee devices within smart home systems via Zigbee2MQTT, while also supporting Thread-based Matter devices through its dedicated second radio.
It offers flexible connectivity options including LAN (Ethernet), USB-C, and Wi-Fi, allowing deployment across a wide range of setups.
The SLZB-MR4U introduces USB passthrough functionality, allowing additional USB devices such as Z-Wave sticks or other radio adapters to be connected and accessed over Ethernet or Wi-Fi within Home Assistant.
Designed for reliability, the device uses a wired Ethernet connection with Power over Ethernet (PoE) support, ensuring stable operation without the limitations of traditional USB dongles.
Pre-flashed and ready to use with Zigbee2MQTT and ZHA.
Supports Zigbee and core firmware OTA updates, with a convenient one-click update feature via the SLZB-OS web interface.
Equipped with a powerful ESP32 chip, featuring dual cores at 240Mhz and 6MB of memory.

Supports VPN tunneling with Home Assistant and advanced security authorisations.
Offers a secure login to the web interface, protected by a password, with an internal whitelist firewall.
When connected via USB, the SLZB-MR4U can expose multiple radio devices simultaneously, allowing both onboard radios to be used independently.
